Arguably my favorite film, The Blues Brothers is not only an amazingly intelligent and perfectly paced picture, it's a document of rhythm-and-blues and soul music from some of the most powerful performers in the genre. I also argue that it had a great effect in bringing those legends in African-American music to the admiration of White American audiences.
