| This 1974 video by Ed Emshwiller was an interesting piece. Video Art was still pretty new, and we were only five or so years away from the legendary On/Off that introduced video to the legitimate film world. I'm not 100% sure what technology Emshwiller emplyed to make Crossings & Meetings, but I"m pretty sure that it was either a Scanimate or a related video manipulation device. The resulting piece is phenomenally interesting, though only excerpts appear to be available. |
